Efectos de un programa basado en hang power clean sobre la capacidad de salto de un equipo profesional de balonmano femenino

Resumen

Los preparadores físicos utilizan el entrenamiento con ejercicios olímpicos para la mejora de la generación de potencia de las deportistas, al contar este con un alto potencial para aumentar el ratio de desarrollo de la fuerza, y de esta forma, el rendimiento deportivo. El objetivo del presente estudio fue describir los efectos de una intervención mediante el hang power clean en jugadoras de balonmano de élite. Participaron 15 jugadoras de un mismo equipo, que competían en la primera división española (DHF guerreras Iberdrola) durante la temporada 2021-2022 (edad: 25,2 ±2,4 años, peso: 70,4 ±7,9 kg, altura: 171,2 ±5,3 cm). Las jugadoras fueron evaluadas tanto al principio como al final de la intervención de 6 semanas, en dos tipos de salto vertical: Abalakov y Double contact jump. Los resultados mostraron mejoras significativas del pre- al post- test en la totalidad de las variables analizadas, a excepción de las relacionadas con la velocidad de salida. Esta información parece indicar que un programa corto de entrenamiento en el que se enfatiza el trabajo con hang power clean podría aumentar la capacidad de salto vertical en jugadoras profesionales de balonmano, así como mejorar su stiffness muscular. Los resultados hallados pueden ser extrapolados a otras atletas femeninas en las que los requerimientos de gestión de fuerzas sean similares.
