Inclusion is one of the social challenges addressed in the Sustainable Development Goals. In the case of Physical Education (PE), it is a discipline that could present barriers to inclusion, such as the attitudes of teachers and students without disabilities, but at the same time offers opportunities to develop inclusive values and attitudes. Thus, the objectives of this study were to carry out an intervention to improve inclusive attitudes towards students with disabilities and to analyse the relationship between inclusive attitudes and different types of motivation towards PE. An intervention consisting of a hiking session with recreational activities interspersed with 134 non-functional diversity participants was carried out. The Questionnaire on Attitudes towards the Inclusion of Students with Disabilities in Physical Education was used to measure inclusive attitudes, and the Questionnaire on Motivation towards Physical Education in Primary Education was used to measure motivation. The results showed that the intervention was effective, but especially with boys and in primary school. Girls, secondary school students and less competitive students showed better inclusive attitudes. Furthermore, this study showed that developing motivation towards PE not only leads to better healthy habits, as indicated by other studies, but also to better inclusive attitudes. The results of this study will help to design interventions that improve inclusive attitudes.
