O papel do clima pró-social e do gênero nas relações entre os objetivos sociais e o prazer em estudantes de Educação Física

Resumo

O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar o papel de mediador do clima pró-social na relação entre as metas sociais e o prazer na Educação Física, considerando também o género como moderador de variável. Participaram 392 alunos de Educação Secundaria Obrigatória, com idades compreendidas entre os 14 e os 16 anos (M = 15,07; DT = 0,78). Foi utilizado um desenho associativo e explicativo, utilizando um modelo de mediação, com o género como moderador, para analisar as relações entre variáveis. Os dados são recolhidos através da Escala de Metas Sociais – Educação Física, do Cuestionário de Clima Prosocial Escolar e do Instrumento de Satisfação Intrínseca no Desporto. A análise de mediação mostra um efeito mediador significativo do clima pró-social na relação entre as metas de responsabilidade e relação com o prazer na Educação Física. Não se verificou um efeito moderador do género no modelo proposto. Estes resultados sugerem que a relação entre as metas sociais e o prazer na Educação Física são explicados em parte pelo clima pró-social na aula, o que realça a importância das interações sociais positivas para promover experiências de aprendizagem nesta matéria.
